		<description>I haven't seen any difference in battery life between tablet and laptop mode, it's probably going to be more due to what kind of software you run when using it either way.

It is definitely a small and fairly light machine - wouldn't trade it for anything with a bigger screen, as even the 12" get a bit heavy after a while of using it on your lap, can't imagine using anything bigger/heavier...

The only problem I had running linux is that it would heat up quite a bit especially when you're running LAMP, Eclipse, VMWare, and tons of browser windows ;)

Generally the machine is quite powerful for it's size and age.</description>
